LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE: 2013

2013 Colorado

We drove 600 miles the first day. Our first stop was Walsenburg Colorado. The second day we only had to drive 300 miles. These 300 miles are going to be up up up!! We are at 6000 feet above sea level and tonight we are going to be at 9000 feet. Going to be a fun day driving in our motor home.

ADVENTURE

Yes I am sentimental ! I was standing for the last time inside our Motorhome thinking back of all the adventure's we had in the last six years. From the first day of setting up at our first camp. To the last day saying goodby.

Where friends are helping to make sure you do everything correct.

Portland

Wow, thank you Trisha for finding a flight on Spirit Air for a red eye to Portland Or. I had a wonderful time. It was a surprise to the boys. I am not sure that they knew what to do with a surprise. Niki was first to see us. He was so confused, he was hiding behind his Mom when he saw us. Then we went to pick up the other two boys at school. When Luka came out running to the play ground and saw us he stopped in his tracks and looked up. With a stunned face he just waved his hand and said HI. Aloysha came over and gave us a hug but I think he was not sure what to think. After the unusual surprise we had a wonderful weekend.

Then we went to Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden.

We had to cross this water fall at least 14 times.

If one does it the other has to do it also.

While we were having fun, Aloysha had his boys only 9th birthday party. Patricia made a special dirt glow worm cake.

After a busy day it was time to relax. We took the two big boys out for ice cream. Then we had to work off some of our energy. Hanging out at the park.

Time is going by so fast. The day we were going back home,we went to a great park. We walked all day where we had lunch at the river. Then later in the afternoon we were off to the only picnic table in the park for our evening cook out.
